There's nothing like getting a different view of something. Here's the old pump tower at the D Street Underpass project looking positively medieval from down in the hole that's being dug for the new bridge's footings. Indeed, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" fans might imagine a French soldier up there, heaping invective on King Arthur
("I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal food trough
wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and
your father smelt of elderberries.")
